While in the air, the RamSan-640 can acquire data at 8 GB/sec and 500,000 IOPS, providing users with unmatched operational performance. When the aircraft returns to the ground, the RamSan-640’s removable Flash Brick™ modules can be replaced with blank modules in seconds, allowing the aircraft to quickly return to service. Another RamSan-640 located on the ground, may then be used to offload and process recently acquired data. The removable Flash Brick™ modules also ease the maintenance burden associated with high-performance computer equipment, since modules are interchangeable between systems. The RamSan-640 undergoes rigorous testing to ensure that it will operate in the extreme conditions of an airborne environment.
