• Event-based Retention (EBR) Enables applications to set an undetermined retention period when content is written to EMC Centera—and then to set a specific retention period or class at the time of a defined event.
• Litigation Hold Enables an application to put a hold on an object—and to remove it at the content level. Litigation Hold overrides retention on objects and prevents privileged deletion of objects. Objects may then be deleted when the hold is released.
• Min/Max Governor Allows system administrators to enforce minimum/maximum retention—on a pool-by-pool basis.
